Gianpaolo Alfano, CEO & Board Director
Gianpaolo began his career at Lehman Brothers after graduating from Regent’s in 1992. From 2007 to 2011, he held the position of managing director at Michael Page Italy, and has been managing partner and board member at Aaron King International since 2007. Passionate about the world of start-ups, in 2010 he co-founded VerticalCom. The company, working with Aaron Kind International, aims to develop digital, transformation, business, re-engineering, branding and corporate image projects. Since January 2014 Gianpaolo has been a board member for three different start-ups and is CEO for HIP Hotels, being involved in the restructuring and digital transformation of the brand.
Gaia Simioni, Head of Acquisitions and Sales
Gaia graduated from Regent’s in June 2014 with BA (Hons) International Business with Finance and French. Whilst at Regent’s, Gaia completed various internships at different companies from LVMH (at both Louis Vuitton and Acqua di Parma) to Four Seasons and Eleganzia Hotels & Resorts. In her third year she studied at Ecole Superieur de Gestion (ESG) in Paris as part of her year abroad. Soon after graduating, Gaia was recruited by HIP Hotels, and went from being a Sales Executive in her first months to becoming Sales Manager and Head of Acquisitions at the company in less than a year. She now leads a team of six people, and she is keen to see the company grow even further.
